STANDARDIZING THE HOTEL STANDARDS OF THE GENERAL DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM
 
How many investors are struggling with the star rating criteria and how are the criteria for decentralization? Viet Orient Hospitality is here for investors to study accordingly to invest in the hotel.
 
Tourism Bureau issued by Decision No. 022001 / QD-TCDL. Rating of hotels from 1-5 stars is assessed based on the requirements: Location-architecture, facilities-facilities , service and level of service, staff service, hygiene. The more the hotel is, the higher the demand.
 
A. General requirements
 
1. Location, architecture
Location: The hotel must be located at least 100 meters from the hospital or school, based on the boundary between the two establishments; not be located in or adjacent to national defense or security areas and to be protected under current regulations.
Architectural design
Transmission line between departments and services in the hotel: is arranged reasonable, convenient, one-way.
Table name; hotel class; hotel signage (if any): located in a prominent place (day and night).
The entrance and entrance of the hotel are conveniently located, with at least 2 doors, a door reserved for guests and a door reserved for officials and employees serving in the hotel.
Parking: The hotel must provide parking space for guests.
Room: Minimum area of ​​bedroom, toilet (m2)
Sleeping rooms:

The hotel serves guests for the purpose of resort (beach holiday, mountain holiday ...) should have space to add a third bed (in case guests request).

2. Equipment, facilities to serve:

3. Service and level of service
Services are subject to availability and are subject to availability.
 
4. Service staff
Professional: Managers and service personnel must be trained and arranged according to professional skills.
Health: Employees must have a health check (certified).
Costume: Managers and service personnel must wear uniforms in accordance with hotel regulations for each title and departmental service during their stay at the hotel.
